The Tribeca Grand is ideally located downtown and it was perfect for a late summer impulsive getaway. There are loads of great restaurants around. The room was quite comfortable and quiet. We didn't explore the hotel too much and we didn't hang out in the lounge/restaurant - although we admired the space. The staff were quite friendly - don't forget to request your vacation pet (the bug eyed goldfish)!

I recently spent 5 nights at this wonderfully located hotel. The level of customer service from the front desk staff especially but to all front line staff was the highest I have ever encountered in 23 years of constant travel. I had a noise issue in the room i was originally assigned, they could not have been more obliging in rectifying the problem. The way you were greeted every time you returned to the hotel made it feel very personal. The only down side was the rooms on the 2nd floor on the Avenue of the Americas have subway noise from the trains below.
I will stay again and recommend to others.

Stayed at the Tribeca Grand Hotel for a night out in the city with my husband. When we arrived the valet immediately helped us out of the car and the bellhop took our luggage for us. At check-in we were offered champagne. The room was clean, small but expected for a NYC hotel, a very comfortable. I liked the added bonus of having a sound machine in the room, which we didn't even need because it was so quiet, to block out any outside noise. The location was exactly what we wanted. Close to SoHo and in the heart of Tribeca. We went across the street for drinks at White and Church- a must do! The drinks are fantastic and unique. Don't miss it! Walked over to Nobu Next Door for a quick bite of sushi. Perfect. Breakfast the next morning at the hotel was quick, great service, and reasonably priced.
Overall, a great experience.
